setting up the right feel on websites
The purpose of the website is to provide information. Whether it is information on the company someone is looking for to purchase an item. Possibly looking at a site to apply for a job. Looking for information contained on the site for knowledge that is on the site. finding out where the address or phone number is. Whatever the reason, they are there for the information.
When first designing your site, figure out it's purpose. Then what information you want to give.
Make it detailed, concise and to the point. Don't over sell, don't over brag, don't over inform. You have a few moments to capture the attention and if they like the layout and the info, they will stay, or return. That is the most important. Will they return.
So stop putting your life history on there, and build a site with the basics. Concise, to the point, and with enough "umph" that they will be back. http://tinyurl.com/28288f9

marketing campaigns
Email campaigns can be time consuming and hard to pinpoint the accurate targets if you don't have the right employees or programs to do so. Email marketing is not just for sales. It is for organizations to post information, neighborhood associations, businesses, non-profits, and anyone else looking to get information into the hands of the right people.

Wikipedia says........
"
Buying behaviour
A marketing firm must ascertain the nature of the customers buying behaviour, if it is to market its product properly. In order to entice and persuade a consumer to buy a product, marketers try to determine the behavioural process of how a given product is purchased. Buying behaviour is usually split in two prime strands, whether selling to the consumer, known as business-to-consumer (B2C) or another business, similarly known as business-to-business (B2B)."
